Words can’t express how I felt that night

Burst of joy squeezed my quilt tight

What once had sounded impossible had came to life

That a total shift had happened switched the scene

After all the months of listening someone supplied my dreams what was never to be became my reality

And even after the establishment clarity

My estack nature could leave me only carefree

But quickly an overwhelming fеar

That If I made 1 slip up it could all disappear

This is all I focused I focusеd on for an entire year

And knowing my luck the future was clear

But despite all the dread

I pulled full steam ahead

Those 5 weeks were a hand of god

Truly sheif kiss

And as drell back it’s that I miss

At the time I failed to recognise

What I had right before my eyes

But obviously I watched it all demise

Wasn’t a gradual fall happened over night

That shaken feeling I could of died

This left me only petrified

You don’t won’t to know the thing I tried

My boys helped me stay alive

Chorus

Waves , waves nan na

You let the waves you

I carried on til summer

No connection trace or sign

Finally mean moons down the line

I hear her voice for the first in a very long time

As I come back she has a new guy

And I just sit in the corner pretending I’m all fine

I have my concerns but scared my bias is in the line light

What was once there is completely out of sight

Verse 2

5 months later I’d like to say it’s past

I won’t to see that but eventually I see b

All of the gain the happiness I could of obtained

Had been unchanged

I look back at who I was and cringe

Simple miss fortune I break down and whinge

And the worst part that’s absolutely key

Is I know she’s happier without put me

What I considered therapy

Would make her feel more crappy

If you could trade me 1 more day

To let the past replay

Give me 1 more shot

I’ll probably loose

But at least I’m content not confused

No 1 can ever understand how I need you
