Dear God, please forgive me for the sins I've committed

I repent to you and ask that your grace be permitted

Bless the less fortunate; let them know they are loved

By me and wash them in the blood

Of Jesus. Keep those I hold close to my heart safe

Protect my sons and keep them foreign to hate

Let them celebrate life and retain the gift of innocence

While being soldiers against bigotry and insolence

I thank you for my family, my gifts and my flaws

Because without them, my life would have no cause

I ask that you continue to bless those who seek You

Regardless of practice, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, or Atheist

As long as they practice love and not malice

Thank you for being my guide and my friend

Thank you for my past, present, and future
