Hook:

Rain pouring and its four a.m

Demons steady scratching at my door again

I really thought we sorted this

No more running I'm round hanging like an ornament

I've grown tired of changing up my coordinates

--------

I'm just an old soul that's stuck inside a young body

That's stuck inside a generation that's stuck up on these dumb hobbies

Magna Cum Laude, yet I'm smarter than the systematics

To be a cog you gotta take part in all these vicious habits

And that ain't like me. (Why?) Cuz I ain't like y'all. (Yeah)

And though it all might seem I'm a bit hyphy, know it's a libel

I'll wave it off like a tidal, then I'll clean it up with a Wypall

Y'all busy cramping my style, think I'll kill em with that Midol

Kiss the white balls, this ain't Tachikara tat

No volleyball attack, or golf it's rap- like all of y'all are trash

So I'm not not sorry not sorry that's a fact

Don't get it twisted, I adore you like a mahogany entrance

I lock em out the crib I dwell. Bars on lock like prison cells

Git em BKnitts give em hell. Those who know me know I will

Know I know nothing, nutty fool

Wait what is nothing, what is true?

If I know something, it wasn't school

Just molecules, so what is cool?

The steno notebook steady perched upon the night stand

With thoughts across the white pad got graphite right in my right hand

Write hands on action cuz this hand written is like capturing

Life and it's elements and there ain't no tellin when this flight lands

It might crash, from every stick and stone these people threw at me

Slight cracks in glass houses are amplified by scrutiny

Hijack every note to self and use it at my eulogy

My lifespan on the page, these swipes of graphite capture fluently
