Sometimes I wish that I could draw, that I could grow up

I could show you everything I see

A beam of boredom every morning

Feeling that Earth's always spinning and it's coming for me

Sometimes I wish that I could draw, that I could grow up

I could show you everything I see

A beam of boredom every morning

Feeling that Earth's always spinning and it's coming for me

Still feeling like Windows 98

So grey, so slow 'cause I don't understand the world

And all it takes, a bit of patience

I dropped out of college, I'll call that vacation

Been swimming with flip-flops for years in rotation

But that's just what happened to my generation

These fifty-year-olds say I need a profession

But I'm paying taxes, they're winning elections

With people still searching for sanity rentals

I guess you can call it the price of regression

Been painting my room with these Freudian projections

Got 24/20, but still no perception, so

Turns out I can't see

Without closing my eyes

Turns out I can't see

Without closing my eyes

Turns out I can't see

Without closing my eyes

Turns out I can't see

Without closing my eyes
