March (War Drum Patterns)

I rise alone

For freedom for my home

If I die I know

All roads to Rome

I am the arbiter of liberty bringing torture and pain

Droughts and rising tides I am the cause of the rain

You have harbored my name… become a part of my game

So the Men of Nations rise and the rest fall into the flames

I have civilized the brutes who've made significant gains

Putting puppets into power who supposedly see things

In different ways… but they don't and never will

Complacent masses vote to 'change' but either way my head stays still

So challenge me and suffer another war

And if you try coming back for more I'll be coming back for more

Crack your jaw, smash your skull flat... 'equal opportunity'

My gold's black I'm spreading democracy from

Sea to shining sea, from shore to bloody shore

And if you think I ain't sure that I'm fucking sure I'm sure

To have enough resources to cover the sore

Cause I don't choose sides I'm just funding the war

Angels cry lullabies and the trumpets roar

Sound off say goodbye (To everything you’ve ever cherished), never looking

Forward… blank stares, blank minds, they are watching

Nothing eat, sleep, work, die

(We march to the rhythm of the war drum

Go to sleep my child it has begun)

And I’ve found that it’s hard to take myself out of perspective

Stepping back, trekking forward, looking around

Codes written in our postures, in our footsteps

In every move we make and the words we utter

Have forced a distinction of ourselves

Isolating us from each other

I rise alone

For freedom for my home

If I die I know

All roads to Rome

I am Lady Empire trekking West towards the setting sun

Groundwork laid before it was all said and done

And if I fall all will fall with me

Move 'em out, spread 'cross lands I have conquered swiftly

I built the walls, laid them out brick by brick

I always watched and danced with the shadows in the cave

Built the fire behind your back, new tinder before I collapse

I stand on a mountain of skulls... the sun sets on the promised land

(she tightened the noose years ago… white roses cover the field: facing West)
