The pale first light touches the outside world

A world I'm kept safe from by a glass

I can't see through how light shines on earth

All waiting has passed

No more longing for the morning light

All clocks seem frozen

Drowned in sleep before night falls

If only I could free myself

Reach for my own hand

If I could go one more step

Hide myself from life

So my body lies still

Banished on white sheets

A restless spirit hidden inside

Seemingly lifeless, misjudged by all

All screams stay within my chest

No word is able to part my lips

My hasty eyes are searching for your gaze

To show you my screaming for help

Before you leave my lonely world

Made of white, brick by brick

Before you release me into the night
