*When you turn on the media

When you lend your ear

To what is goin' on in this world

It is in one word overwhelming*

Shatter my heart into

A million fragmented pieces

Hopefully, it will reach

The seeker

Searching for something deeper

The shattered pieces a prism of light

Bending a color spectrum

Paint me electric

A rainbow watercolor reflection

Refracted cerulean

Sky blue soundscapes demand more volume

An infinite sunrise

Searching for God

Ethereal

Nexus

My spirit resurrected

Emerging from Chrysalis

Butterfly regenerated

A burdened soul weighted by sin

Beautiful gems planted in my subconscious

A grace that can transform monsters

Rebellious creatures bent toward evil

Deceived people listen to serpents

And turn apples into apple pie

Our bellies full from lies

A wayward soul satisfied

Until that soul dies

Consuming vomit

Rebelling against the promise

[Hook]

It will be...Alright

Because the sun will rise

Alright!!

Break me in half

Pray

That I find submission

Not bound by traditions

In this galaxy

I’m transcending

A precious pearl I found

Swallowed it whole

Watch it

Energize my soul

Like volcanic heat

Obsidian

I shall explore meridians

Dream kaleidoscope

Colorful folks collide often

Bullets spray

Visions of coffins

Yet the hope of this world

Sat in the earth

For three days

The sign of Jonah

In the belly of the beast

His persona

The Godman

Who came and got man

A rescue operation

His sovereign plan of salvation

To save many

This is the hope that we hold on too

Peace and love to all mankind

Peace to my brothers

Peace to all my sisters

The weight depression rest on our shoulder

Reality bubbles over

Our soul sobers

The illusion

We are in control

I feel separated

Dark night of the soul

[Hook]

It will be...Alright

Because the sun will rise

Alright!!

*So in the midst of talking about sickness

Do not collapse into despair

Because we are talking about one who holds it all in the palm of His hand

Yes life is fragile

But God is mighty*
