Where is the future when dreams die

I think we are no where near

No where near where we need to be

Swept away by your common fear

Thrown back into oblivion

No way to reconcile

I see so many give in

Smashed by the burden of a cold hard reality

But some still dare to try

That's where I put my hope

Because when hope dies

That's when I get scared

They're the ones that set the highest goals

And reach for the unknown with all they have

Strength, courage and confidence

That's how I look ahead
