Blessed are you to weep

For you shall be comforted

For our flesh is as grass

And our life as a flower

For grass must wither

And flowers must decay

Lord, teach me

That I must have an end

And that my life has a goal

My days are a breath long

Man passes as a shadow

And he is disquieted in vain

Listen: I’m telling you a secret

Some of us won’t fall asleep

But we will all be transformed

Transfigured

The dead shall be raised

And we shall be changed

Death, where is your sting?

Grave, where is your victory?

Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from

Henceforth. Sayeth the Spirit, that they rest from their

Labours, and that their works follow after them
