[Verse 1]

A couple centuries since the abolishment of slavery

Yet we still saw the violation of the brave and free

The breed of crime, has been increasing almost rapidly

In societies of poverty, with no authority

We call the hood, but what’s good?

Teaching crime from childhood? Right ’til adulthood

Just look at all the “crooks" taken in their prime

From falsehood, taken to prison to do time

Where they’re not treated fair, not spared, and nobody cares

Used as slaves, made depraved and never saved

Enclaved in the cave where they’ve been enslaved

Legally made slaves, for having ki, but society

Is not aware, of the tragedy, that they can't flee

So we stay quiet, forget the need for change or see

Or brainstorm, ideas to inform and bring reform

To stop this norm, because if not there’ll be a storm

[Chorus]

It’s been years but the pain won’t disappear

We’re filled with fear, until the truth is made clear

But the hypocrisy that we see is what bothers me

Of people who lie and forget about democracy

It’s been years but the pain won’t disappear

We’re filled with fear, until the truth is made clear

But the hypocrisy while preaching equality is what bothers me

Of people who lie and forget about democracy

[Verse 2]

That didn’t do it all, but neither does collectivism

A tired set of policies leading to the death of livin’

Eliminating competition, the masses are misled

By what they’re fed, the truth has been misread

Spewing hateful words to those who protect and serve

They still forget the slurs and sacrifice their whole world

To look after yours -- and yet you still ignore

All the feds out set, helping to cure the poor

The few that have abused the influence of their state

Have faced the case, the consequences, and have never been excused

And it’s not simply just based off of race

Shootings are more great to the hostile who don’t comply

Regardless of your colour, black or white alike

The problem is the strike at those who fight spike

In crime, those fighting to catch the red handed

But embrace it, as the racists had planned it, a culture with widespread bandits

[Verse 3]

But here we are eventually overshooting equality

We’ve come this far, what happened to democracy?

Pushing lies the aristocracy is made of hypocrisy

Why does there have to be a hierarchy of oppression?

Judge people on their expression, not on their succession

That’s not progression it's simply the definition of regression

Without a question, what’s a microagression?

When there’s repression and suppression

Of speech, based on the speaker’s identity and beliefs

Nothing screams equality like judging men by their skin

It’s bigotry -- can’t you see? You’re exactly what you said you shouldn't be

You can’t silence me just because you don’t agree!

Worse yet, hate crimes perpetrated against whites

Ignored, and even emboldened and deemed right

By the mainstream news media and the authority

Increasing hate rapidly, what d’ya expect the outcome to be?

[Chorus x2]

It’s been years but the pain won’t disappear

We’re filled with fear, until the truth is made clear

But the hypocrisy that we see is what bothers me

Of people who lie and forget about democracy

It’s been years but the pain won’t disappear

We’re filled with fear, until the truth is made clear

But the hypocrisy while preaching equality is what bothers me

Of people who lie and forget about democracy
