Aberration

Lo, Eternity has been relentless. I begin to seize

As the world around me contorts and dissolves

As mind and body coalesce in rapturous singularity

A hand reaches towards impossibility

Violently ripping abstraction from the aethere;

Forcing existence upon me

As my emancipated consciousness

Careens through tunnels of psychedelic light

Visions of an overly contrived apparition give way to

Formless purity

Atop the crimson surface of cosmic seas

I leave behind the cycle of rebirth

I bеhold that which is beyond time

An unfathomable majеsty beyond comprehension

An endless ocean of astral blood

Transfixed in an infinite void

Filled with remnants of those that never were

The hand that freed me slows as it reveals its grotesque visage

I gaze upon a face that has no features

No eyes, no ears, no mouth

Its head, it writhes and splits

Unleashing a cacophonous symphony

Profane echoes of a ceaseless existence pour from its being

A deluge of innumerable eons

All experienced simultaneously

Dissolve what remains

Of the temporal veil

Atop the crimson surface of cosmic seas rests countless eternities

Enigmatic cosmic rings perpetually orbiting round spheres of blinding light

Their ominous simplicity belies the unrelenting agony within;

My grim burden to bear

Held aloft by my transcendent benefactor, I am given shape

From the carrion of celestial beings, a body is formed

A throng of twisted black tendrils emerge from the void

To condense this mass of aethereal decay

Skeletal structure and musculature slowly congeal

Forming frail protrusions with curious sensations

Encased in flesh that is not my own

An aberrant star breathes its first new breath
