[Intro 2x]
Watch your step, Watch your mouth
We all know the way that a punk goes out
[Verse 1]
For the supper when a punk goes out
Checkerboard of mothballed death-forms
And encased where the claw marks wane off broadway the god way
Commuters from the farms with news of el Chupacabra
Who transfuse soup out a fresh punk skull
Said “a pall bore's not a sure sign of jarred lightning"
Harsh, that's how the yellow spine-diner was born
Feral feeding that strung his organs up like tire swing art
Chippin' a drippy set of broke bone grinders
Less for the land mine finders
Fine, no defacto leaders in the eatery
Unless you count the way they led his heart through his tuxedo tee
[Verse 2]
4 and 22
Chew together when a punk goes out
Etiquette of tart-tongued ghouls
Run a culinary school for gluttony-drunk wolves
Early sign of punk shows up on the diagnostic
Hm, pardon if I seem stand off-ish
All the see-sawed loss, I can't call it
All petite drawn straws and orange caution
Or outcast creeps re-involved for absolvement
It's gaudy , plus when a hell-bound offspring and yours share an office, all evolves salty
Watch, if fortune is a bitch with venom and laser tits
Maybe sin‘ll make for sugar-flavored flesh
Kings taste terrible at best and rest in peace raw
Caw!
[Outro]
Watch your step, Watch your mouth
We all know the way that a punk goes out
Gotta watch your step, Watch your mouth
We all know the way that a punk goes out
crows feasting on a dead body

The victim being eaten is a punk, referencing the first lines:
Four and twenty one crows
None go south
for the supper when a punk goes out.
Gaudy: Extravagantly bright or showy, typically so as to be tasteless
Some irony, here. The horrific scene is far from bright, despite being perhaps showy and tasteless. The fact that it’s supposedly bright but nonetheless tasteless reflects Crows 1 in which Aesop expressed his disgust towards funerals. To him, instead of closure, funerals offer horror.
The beasts he speaks of transfuse the contents of their victims into them. In other words, they eat their dead victims' insides.
This could be a reference to evolution from creatures of the ocean (salt-water). It’s contrasting the resentment that he has for someone he cares about being buried with people he doesnt care about or views as bad and the common origin of all of the people in the cemetery.
Hauled out of life “Broadway” before they were finished, like a bad cartoon performance.

Besides the awkward, impersonal feeling towards the dead in cemetaries, Aesop feels discomfort with his lost being buried among bad people. “All evolves salty” is to say that things turn sour. The atmosphere is ruined. He doesn’t want to be there.
Less for those who are being eaten.
Etiquette of tart-tongued ghouls never run truck jewels
“Truck jewels” is a term for extensive, heavy golden jewelry. To say that the etiquette of the ghouls is without truck jewels is to say that the ghouls have ugly eating habits.
The “tart-tongued” bit, meaning “sour-tongued,” pushes the grotesque nature of the ghouls and their eating or speaking habits. The image contrasts the word “etiquette” for the irony.

The collective conscious feeds metaphorically off other people’s deaths, using it to progress their own personal agenda.
Aesop can’t feel remorse for all of the dead. He can’t feel the loss. As explained in the next lines, cemetaries host both the needlessly lost and the justly dead. As per Crows 1, Aesop finds that cemetaries are too impersonal.
Drawing a short (or petite) straw out of bunch means to be unluckily chosen for something that sucks, particularly cannibalism as per The Custom of the Sea. The fact that ALL drawn straws were petite means that everyone, even the innocent, is being eaten.
In addition, orange caution refers to common caution alerts set around crime scenes: orange tape and pylons.

They are all out vampires as well as heavy carnivores.
The coffin maker doesn’t want their poor workmanship to be discovered.
..Unless you count the way they brought the victim’s heart out through their tuxedo tee, straight out of the chest.
If fortune is such a monster, Aes suggests other things may also not be what they seem, and sin would just be a fun experience. Continues themes of Aes not trusting, divulging from the usual path, as well as presenting the idea that maybe he’s wrong, and the consequences put him in a dark situation.
Illustration of the sound and image of ghouls eating people. They’re grunting, and the way they eat, they smother the soupy contents of their prey’s chests.
Propaganda. “Kings” (or leaders) are too powerful to touch/eat, while the rest (everyone under them) are recipes, created with fears, perversions, and cultural folkways and left to cook in the earth’s sun, waiting for the crows.
(Feral = a wild state)
Feral feeding of his insides cause his organs to be strung out of him, like a tire hanging from a rope.
So just imagine the victim looking like a tire swing, with his insides being the rope and the body being the tire.
Since the bloodsuckers and beasts eat their victims' insides, Aesop is saying that eating victims' insides is considered a ‘diner’ to them.
(Spine = one of their insides)
Among the dying are outcasts, guilty in some dimension, whose death is just.
Chippin' is a word used to describe teeth.
Aesop is saying that these teeth are used as broken bone grinders (eating the victim.)
‘Drippy set’ meaning the teeth are dripping with blood, and the victim’s organs.
A frightening mythical beast that is supposed to be a 3 – 4 foot scaly reptile with spines running down its back that can hop up to 40 feet in one bound. Sort of like the Latin American version of Bigfoot. The name literally means “goatsucker” because it supposedly sucks the blood of goats and cattle.

Crows 1, was 4 minutes and 20 seconds long, so we are 4 minutes and 21 seconds into the same song, even though they are different tracks.
The line also has similarities to the line
Four and twenty blackbirds
Baked in a pie.
From sing a song of sixpence, perhaps just a coincidence.
The scene’s poor etiquette is examplary for savage eaters such as hungry wolves.
This is a sample from a Felt (Slug and Murs duo) song Like You, In which Murs says this two bar. Also, the album this track is on was produced completely by Aesop himself
Hive mind is a term mostly meaning ‘collective consciousness’.
More for the creatures feeding.
No pretentious eaters allowed in the eating of the victim. Just grub, grub, grub.
God the Father.
This bit calls God to look upon the horrors the song describes.
The only person having a bad time from this action is the person getting their insides eaten.
duh
