Prove Them Wrong

The harbingers speak with tongues of rust

Their words decay their truths combust

Through specters’ grasp through time’s decay

We forge the dawn from night’s dismay

The gallows creak with dreams unspun

Yet stars are born in the death of suns

Through heavens torn and rivers dry

We paint the sky with the blood of why

Their arrows fall like fractured light

Yet broken beams ignite the night

A blackened rose in cursed soil

Now blooms anew through endless toil

Let oceans rise and mountains wail

Our spirits rise no strength can pale

A chorus sung where none belong

To silence the void and prove them wrong
