The Warming

I am so high, I might die tonight, or morning

Light in my eyes is a brightening shine that’s warming, warning

Red alert, red alert, but I’ve been forewarned

I can’t feel my face, my hands or my forearms

All’s numb when it comes to feeling, double vision

Gives me four palms, s’far flown I touch the ceiling of my building

Illin’, puke spittin’, drool thickened

Stool piegeon, soon tippin’, room spinnin’ for doom’s entrance

A huge sentence looms with vengeance cruelly in distance

And zooms rend’rin’ human existence a gruelled experience

Foolish indifferent fixes that I choose when spoons are litted

Include injections shooting a liquid that soothes but sickens

Usage threatens, but it too is a tool or weapon

That removes stress, so that fruits nectar and juice is venom

How soon will death come? A spec from beyond awakens

That starts faded and becomes larger’s I fall adjacent

The bright white light array excites me as it greatens

It almost grazes when I get a frightening warm sensation

I am so high, I might die tonight, or morning

Light in my eyes is a brightening shine that’s warming, warning me

Danger, danger, I’m teetering on the edge of it

Bleeding on my sleeve where the needle was squeezed to get it in

From ease to deadliness, with what placebos are better than

“Never ‘gain will I need my medicine”’s a dreamer’s sentiment

My ending is, and it seems that I meant to send me this

However regret is the enemy of men selection-less

Stretching lips, ‘vent’lly rip, merely wet from the flesh’s drip

‘cause negligence prevents expression when in an extended trip

I gently split from where I sit to air and drift

I stare at him, he stares again, we share this, then a pair of men

This fairy land of merriment’s of no comparison

‘though those sailing winds are ferrying me towards a fear of death

Dodos bury their heads, under the dirt and see

A bulb that gleams with perfect sheen and thus the bird is free

But the bird is we, as him & I, once one now furthering

This curious thing illuminates then aches & burns me deep

I am so high, I might die tonight, or morning

Light in my eyes is a brightening shine that’s warming, warning

Code orange, code orange, who’d know this’d go the farthest

No one can own this torment still roaming in solid form

And the coldness that’s slowly fallen as snow in a homely garden

Or’s frozen in lonely forests a notion that’s almost foreign

This nose has chosen a target that grows and the goal’s enormous

The warmth of that glow is harshening the closer it pulls me towards it

Now scorching holding me moti’nless, smoke & organs

My bones become stones on a faulty course or the road of the poor and hopeless

My molten form wet, scolds yet is soaking dormant

Engulfed in the bod’ly ocean that’s morphed from my mode’s emulsion

No ghostly explorer roams through the globe when its core is stolen

In hopes that a door will open exposing a golden fortress

Thrown from our world as soulless, no solace amongst the homing

My love was to flow beyond but resulted in horrid fortune

Ignorant to world that’s wholesome. dope encroaches the dome

That is prone to the smaller tokens of coping with those emotions

I am so high, I might die tonight, or morning

Light in my eyes is a brightening shine that’s warming, warning
