How old

Will we be

When we see

What once was

Can't be again

And be OK with past being past

I try to be in tune with my life

And do the things i have in front of me

And be the person i need to be

And not long

For a moment

That isn't feeding

The excitement that i have

The air that i breathe

Is being refilled presently

With new hopes and feelings guiding me

To a new place

To build what i need

To fill what i feel

To make something new

More than i can see

This compass guides me

Feeling what i feel

Aiming what i know true
